A Good Start: This is (supposedly) made from borosilicate glass - the original Pyrex. But what was once Pyrex is now cheap, heat-treated, colorless glass. If you scratch it, it can shatter into thousands of pieces. So real borosilicate glass is better - durable and heat resistant. Now for the bad news: Lids are useless because they aren't airtight. The pouring lip is poorly formed and drips when pouring a full container. The handle is too short, uncomfortable to hold. And the worst thing is that in the dishwasher ALL the markings came off (see photo). There was no trace - perfect cleanliness.
