DEA Products A7098 Transmission Mount Review

Works as it should. The original design makes the rubber break down more easily than this replacement. I expect more miles than the OEM. Application: Mercedes-Benz CLK320 2004.

The part was incorrect for the 2013 MB GLK350, although it shows it is the correct part for the vehicle selected. This mount is a simple 2 screw mount. MB GLK350 2013 requires 3 screws for assembly. The element must indicate whether it is intended for assembly on 2 or 3 screws. Now I have to wait for the delivery of another batch.

I have a 2002 Mercedes CL500. This mount was a direct replacement for this car and has worked great! The only comment I would like to make is that the tapped holes on the underside of the bracket were not deep enough for the original Mercedes screws. I had to add 2 washers to each of the 2 bolts. Also, I installed them with floppy disks as well and my CL500 is now purring like a kitten, no more vibration.

I'm a little tired as this product was a little above the OEM I removed. Had a polished metal finish - a slight copper look so it didn't look OEM (on the surface) and didn't look at all like the product pictured (hence 4 stars as it should look like how you get it). But it fits and seems to be working great so far. I googled the manufacturer, they seem to specialize in this and it turns out that this product is used in many models/brands.
