There is about 1/4 inch space around the inside of the holster which makes it easy to remove my phone. My phone has a protective phone case that surrounds my phone and this case. , some belt holsters don't have enough space to easily take out the phone with a protective case, my Debin has. It's well made, has a strong valve magnet and I'm very happy with it.

I had to rate this 5 stars because I work in the port all day getting boats on and off. I was hooked like any holster, so it's not a minus. It has held up well and I am wearing my 3rd holster in 5 years. That's pretty damn good considering I take at least 2 a year! Powerful Great Product in DeBin!
