I really like the look of the fan and it works although I lost one of the big screws and the small screw for the Bottom. I only used three screws to hold them, which seems to work. I used a thin piece of coated wire to secure the fan where the small screw would go. Very smart work with screws and bolts attached to the fan instead of being packed separately. Good idea/

I bought 2 of these. I put both seams together, both worked initially. These were underused fans that only turned on at the lowest settings and oscillated in my living room when I sat down to watch videos at night (so maybe running 4-5 hours a day). Suffice it to say that one died within a month and the other a few weeks after. They're cool because they look really good and seem well built and sturdy, but for what I paid it was a huge rip off. Looks good and is a reliable fan that doesn't make much noise (personally I like the sound of the fan blades, but I hate the occasional chime). The biggest problem and what might make a lot of people send it in. The downside is that the screws at the base behind the fan blades are too tight from the factory. You must loosen them or the fan motor will be difficult to turn. In fact, mine didn't spin at all until I took it apart and tried to figure out what was wrong. When I put it back together…
