I bought this to keep my bathroom door open so my Roomba wouldn't get locked in. Nearly perfect. Take some sticky rubber feet and attach them to the bottom and back of the doorstop. This prevents the dust collector from moving it and she cannot close the door and get stuck in the bathroom.

I bought the brown Fleur de Les door stops and they are good! They hold open two doors for the closet I have in my master bedroom. They won't stay open and won't do their job. They're not big enough to get in the way, but big enough to hook onto the bottom of both doors. Thanks for this suggestion.

This doorstop looks great and is heavy enough to prevent the door from moving. I'm giving 4 stars because I think the bottom could be improved. It's a straight metal floor. It will scratch the floor. This will create grooves in your floor. Could definitely use some sort of rubber or plastic bottom that would be softer.

Looks great in my house; The texture of the aged metal is perfect. It's completely hollow at the back, though, so it's not as heavy as it looks. The lack of a back is actually not a problem as it is always opposite the door. However, the floor is only open; There's no flat surface on the bottom, so it's easier to slide on the hard wooden floor than we'd like. I love this doorstop and use it as a bookend because it has a flat back. I liked it so much that I bought a second one (or thought I'd order the same product). However, the second one has a wedge at the back, as you would expect from a doorstop. When I checked out Revain again, the first model I bought was no longer available.
