These were replacements for a couple of broken latches on my 5 wheel trailer. Native locks broke. The receivers were still fine, so all I had to do was replace the latch. This required re-drilling for the screws as they are not in the same place. It was still a quick install. I had a latch replaced at an RV repair center and also had to have it drilled through.

RV latches were difficult to release in our previous Tiffin RV but when we sold it our new Forest had these exact River Sunseeker MBS latches. I don't know how one of them broke but it was the perfect replacement. Since the fasteners are subject to heavy wear and tear, we will certainly use up the entire package over time. Feel free to buy them.

They are very useful around the home for cupboards and closets. Many RV manufacturers also use them on their buses for drawers, closet doors, and cupboards. A 5 pound train is enough for home. I prefer the £10 RV version. You need to pay attention to the alignment of the cam (the part on the left) with the latch. If you move them you can break the latch. There are lateral adjustments on the cam and latch. Vertical alignment must be carefully controlled.

It has only been a few days since I received this but I ordered these latches to replace the same latches in our RV that had failed. I argued between a 5 pound and a 10 pound latch and settled on a 5 pound latch. It only took me about 5 minutes to swap out the latch and assemble the drawer. No screws were included which was fine in my case as I replaced the latch and the screws were in good condition. I can't say anything about the durability of this latch at the moment, but for now it works…
