I was looking for a container big enough for potato chips so I wouldn't have to constantly reach into the bag. It was the perfect item for this as it fits perfectly in a 12oz party sized bag.

2 containers for storing/freezing cakes bought - instead of one big cake we make 2 small Bundt cakes and freeze one. Please note that we use the top of the container as the bottom for easy trimming. These containers are perfect!

When ordering I was going to get 5 when only 1 showed up. I was shocked although I overlooked that it was 5 quarts and not 5 rubber wear! I found it a bit much for one, although I really like the durability of this product! It's airtight and is great for a whole sliced melon or a large pot of leftovers.

My wife makes about 4 gallons of soup at a time and freezes it for use over the next few weeks. However, the large containers she's been using to store soup in her freezer for the last twenty years finally broke and we couldn't find any large containers to replace them until we found this one. I hope these new ones will serve us for another twenty years.

I bought this for a purpose, to store partially used spools of 3D Filament. For storing two rolls this is just about perfect. I mean it can be a bit smaller in diameter, that's all. In general they are a bit lighter than I expected; especially the lid. But for the price I think they are good value for money and certainly fit me well.

These containers are perfect for two standard size Hatchbox filament spools with room on the sides for multiple bags of silica gel. I can easily see what colors are in each container and the footprint is reduced compared to storing in the original boxes. The seal appears to be very tight, definitely tight enough for this purpose. The single best storage I see is in vacuum pack rolls after each use, but who wants that?

I use this to store spools of thread. It includes two spools for my printer (FlashForge Adventurer 3 Lite) with space for a desiccant box. Can't tell if it's airtight, but the lid fits just right. Only 4 stars only because the lid doesn't have a 'tab' to open and is easy to pop open and accidentally spill/discard if you're not careful. I'm uncomfortable enough to cost him a star. I recommend and buy again.

I ordered 4 of these to store 3D printer filament and had high hopes as they hold my 2 large rolls perfectly. I did a test, I filled one about half full with water and secured the lid, then I placed it upside down on the counter and the water seeped all over the lid telling me they are leaking. I was a little concerned as the lids don't fit like a good Tupperware lid (not as reliable a click feel when fitted) but the test I ran confirms that they are not airtight and not the ideal 3D filament…

Inside edge from edge to edge 9 1/4 in. But the sides aren't straight, they taper to 8 3/4 inches. then it's no problem. For those struggling with the lid, grasp the tab just below the rim with four fingers and gently but firmly pull up, as if opening the lid of a can of potato chips. This breaks the tightness of the lid. and makes it easier to open. Update 7/24/2020 I dropped it off the table and it just jumped. When do storage containers break like this? How hard can it even be?
