Bought a pair after reading they would have the same keys. They weren't. I had to use the toggle switches from the old set for new latches. The springs are not strong enough to rotate the locked strut if it closes during rotation (silent closing).

The latch was an exact replica of the original. The downside is that there are few directions. You will need to use an Allen key to loosen the back of the latch to remove the old one. Be careful with the connection bar. You must reuse it. Although buying two locks was a bit expensive, it was a lot cheaper than buying a new tool box.

The clasps are easy to replace and fit perfectly as I expected. I ordered 2 of these for my tool box because it has 2 independent lids and they both came with the same keys which is what I was hoping for. However, one side doesn't seem to line up properly with the retaining mechanism on the lid, and you actually have to hit it to close it. Nothing bad, but annoying.

Works as advertised. Bought an old battered tractor box for $25, the latches were rusted and the box wouldn't open. I drilled out the originals, put them in, everything fitted and works perfectly. Ordered 2 and the keys fit both locks. Some paint and new gear. I had a nice functional tool box for my new truck for a fraction of the cost of a new one. Quality product, I will definitely buy again.

I ordered 2 pieces and the keys are the same as expected. There are 2 keys in the package so I now have 4 keys for my tool box which is nice. I also replaced the strikers on both sides. Easy task to replace them. Simply drill out the old rivets and swap the parts. You'll need a hand riveter (they're cheap). Very satisfied. PS I've found that with aluminum rivets you often break the stem in the middle rather than near the head. Simply bend the rest until they break or cut them off. Nbd.
