Description of DeepScan

DeepScan is a static code analysis tool and hosted service for inspecting JavaScript code. It checks possible run-time errors and poor code quality using data-flow analysis. DeepScan follows the execution and data flow of program in greater depth. This enables finding issues that syntax-based linters can't. So you can focus on major issues first and gradually.

Great tool for performing static code analysis and improving overall quality

What I like most about this product it's that you can set rules to check your JS files, which makes life easier when managing large projects with multiple developers working at different times in their own environments (local machine or cloud). That said there are some things i dislike such as sometimes if we want more detailed information of what went wrong then its not always easy due too much details being given out so be sure before running any tests! We use deep scan mainly because our…

  • Great for searching through errors
  • Triggering alerts via slack etc is super simple
  • Ease using environment setup + configuration & management
  • Can't beat free trial period either :D

  • Sometime finding error causes may take long
