Great sounding speakers.

This might be the best speaker I've ever bought. The vocals are so clear and the sound is so clear. I like being able to control the subwoofer and not being a fan of hitting it too hard. A retail price of less than $500 each makes this a no-brainer.

Low Frequency Response and Bass Controls

They're amazing. I have the living room 20*20 and they are the smallest of the bp9000 series and these beats fit perfectly together with their bass adjustment so it can be customized and I don't think you really need a subwoofer anymore with these very happy with the purchase. Definitely will be buying another definite product in the future as I have their sc8000 subwoofer that bangs and thumps.

Incredible sound: Speaker

Incredible sound! I've been looking for suitable floorstanding speakers for months and have done a lot of research. I chose this DT BP-9020 for several reasons: sound quality was first and footprint second. These are incredible speakers and of course they only get better with age. I hooked them up to a 50-watt Marantz receiver and it's more than enough power for these speakers to produce crisp, clear sound at any volume. Very important!

I really want to give them a good rating

They sound fantastic - when they work. Right out of the box, one of my amps broke. They replaced him. Then he died again. Then they exchanged it. Then the other died. Replacement came - defective. They sent another. It just died on me this past weekend. Something is obviously wrong with these amps. I really hope part #5 lasts a long time, but I don't trust the quality of this company's parts.

Great floorstanding speaker!

I've been a fan of Def Tech for years. I bought 2 Protower 400 20 years ago. After so many years, a tower's drivers are damaged. After researching Def Tech-Tower I decided to buy this BP9020 to replace my broken ProTower 400. All I can say is that it was the best decision I've ever made. The audio is the same and it sounds just as good as the other remaining ProTower 400. It sounds great for both home theater applications and music. Fantastic sound that greatly expands the possibilities of HT.

Buying speakers you haven't heard is risky so I had to do my due diligence, trust my gut and more importantly trust Def Tech. I bought these to replace my SM55 bookshelves by installing them on a Marantz 6014 on a 7.1.2 Atmos system. I paired this BP9020 with a CLR2002 hub and they made a fantastic trio. The sound is first class, clear and precise. The bass can be adjusted from minimal to almost excessive (I'm a big bass fan, I'll admit I overdo it) without sacrificing sound quality. Overall I…
