Fast, stylish, feels nice, great buy

I bought this laptop for use in my new home business. My old computer was slow. It's amazingly fast and I love that it has Windows 10 Pro. I saw the same computer for sale at Walmart for $1,500 and this computer has everything I need. Installation and updates were the quickest and easiest I've ever experienced on a computer. I've only had it for a few days, so I'm sure I'll discover more features as time goes on, but for now, here are my favorite things about this…

  • Fits me perfectly

Old but new. REVISED DOWN from 5 to 2 Stars

REVISED The last laptop I pulled out seemed to have an issue with speakers not working properly. I wrote to the support team at the email address listed in the box and it was listed again as an unknown domain name. Aside from the speakers, the laptop is in good condition, but I wanted to use these machines for remote workers who will be using Teams to communicate. It doesn't work without sound. I just needed a couple of older machines for basic office functions and they fit the bill perfectly…

Budget laptop

This is my first refurbished laptop. I was honestly a little concerned about this purchase. I'm an IT professional and have worked with end user computers and their support for the past 10 years so I was very cautious in selecting this laptop. I was very surprised about that. Notebook. It looks like new, the OS worked fine, just had to do the initial configuration as a brand new install of Win10 and activate the license. License This is Win10 Pro for refurbished hardware. It fits me. The…

so disappointed - Traditional laptops

It's very frustrating to set up the whole system only to find that every time I closed the lid and it hibernated after opening it, Wi-Fi wouldn't start automatically became. I spent 3 days researching and troubleshooting only to end up on the phone with a Dell tech who after 3 hours of trying couldn't solve the problem. They wanted to send a technician to replace the hard drive. I'm so glad I bought this through Revain as the rep stayed with me when they called Dell (who wanted to charge me for

Unreliable WLAN in laptops

Laptop is fast, screen is mediocre, WLAN is annoying. The WiFi-enabled Intel chip will intermittently crash and you'll have to either restart the computer (e.g. on Windows) or force a new PCI scan (luckily easy on Linux) to reconnect. Forget long loading times. I ended up getting a Tp-Link TL-WN725N to use as a wireless adapter.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Empty on arrival Suitable for laptops

The battery was dead and the fan was not working when I received it. Revain agreed to return the money but I had to ship the unit back which cost me $200 and they were only willing to refund $50 for shipping. The product looks good from the outside.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled

No operating system. Windows 10 has not been activated. NOT GOOD

We were very disappointed. The operating system was not activated and DELL stated that the laptop was 3 years old and out of warranty. Repairing the operating system would have cost us more money, but DELL was willing to fix the problem. The laptop was given to my daughter, all wrapped in a bow. What a disappointment to see that he did not have an ACTIVATED operating system and we did NOT receive an activation key for the product. Microsoft couldn't help us either, so we send faulty hardware…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • Annoying
