24 Inch Dell ST2410 - Discontinued by Manufacturer - 60 Review

The monitor does not work properly to display basic graphics for a regular PC. Many blinking lines appear under "optimal resolution". With a different resolution, the result is worse. I have years of experience and I have the latest updated driver for the ATI Radeon HD 4890 on Windows 7 on my system. Large monitor with good video quality. The glossy bezel and white back are a bit odd, but that's okay. The lack of an adjustable stand can be an issue. The problem for me, however, was that a year later I was considering mounting it on a standard VESA mount. No VESA compatibility?! This is nonsense.

I think the picture quality of this monitor is great. However, if you are using a dedicated stand that allows you to install 2 or more monitors, then look elsewhere. Dell designed this monitor with a different back than most other monitors (VESA). Because of this, you cannot connect this monitor to one of these stands. On the other hand, this monitor is capable of producing a very sharp and clear image. However, I had trouble setting it up and I'm still not particularly happy with the display quality. I returned a Del ST-2410 which was immediately found faulty and it took 5 hours on the phone to get a return authorization from them. It took a tech to confirm and then went back to customer support for RGA. Every time you are 45 minutes late. I got an HP 27" TS-27M9 from HP and immediately it was level 1 with amazing graphics and blue ray playback that blew your mind. Despite some negativity in previous reviews, I think this 24-inch monitor is a great, affordable, half-price alternative to the Dell UltraSharp U2410. Pros: Excellent image quality, large viewing area, reliable performance. Cons: no height adjustment. Solution: If necessary, add an additional riser.

A very good monitor. Clear and bright. Mainly used for web browsing, for which it is ideal. There were some issues with (insufficient) color saturation, but setting the color mode to Game improved it immeasurably. I run it over DVI. I bought it as a companion for my Dell S2409W. It is currently installed next to the S2409W and is very similar to it. Excellent value for money and quality.

I've had this monitor for about a year now and I have to say it's a good monitor for the money. This monitor worked well for gaming (although I'll admit I'm not an avid gamer), general office work, and watching movies. Points this monitor works very well!

I bought a new monitor that is bigger. Working from home and using my old monitor just didn't work. I did a lot of shopping and found this one at Walmart for $219. I was impressed that it was a Dell and because I did site to store I didn't have to pay for shipping which was great! I love it! It's huge and was very easy to install. Great!
