Not Worth The Money

As an automotive enthusiast, I was disappointed with this ignition control module. As a result of my tests, I determined that it did not improve my engine's performance in any way. Despite the high price, I found this product to be inefficient and unreliable.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Expensive and ineffective.

Screws must be present.

Ignition module purchased for my 96 Civic D16Y7 1.6L Non Vtech. The ignition module will fit this vehicle, but due to the design of the part, longer bolts are required.

Pros
  • Control Units
Cons
  • Wires shorter than other picks

Fixed tachometer issues

I bought this along with all the other parts needed to recover my giddiness as I had an issue with the tachometer not reading accurately. Be very careful when removing and installing the distributor. They say it's 3 bolts, but you really have to remove the valve cover and then loosen the 2 bolts on the head/rocker assembly that hold the swindle in place. This makes insertion and removal easier. Also make sure you set cylinder 1 to TDC and if you reinstall Dizzy you will notice a series of lines

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • I don't remember
