Delphi GN10328 Ignition Coil Review

Not satisfied with it yet. Ordered them for 09 335xi and from 6 2 misfires. Request a replacement and see these works poorly. For now I give them 1 star.

Perfect for 2012 Mini Cooper S. Changes quickly and works perfectly. Much cheaper than OEM and just as good. To be honest since these parts have a finite life of around 30-40k miles I ordered three, replaced two and left another in the back of the car.

The seller said in the comments section that they are made in Italy. They come in boxes with Chinese stamps. Customization sucks. Warning, you CAN make them work. But if you think you removed your old spool and put this one in, you are wrong. See how far down they go from OE. Also note that there is slack when fully inserted into the top where the connector will be inserted. This requires a backfire if you're in the mood.

Supposed to be for a 2007 BMW 335i but the installation is terrible. They don't fit well. I tried my best to get them working, but I ended up having more misfires than when I started. I put the old spark plugs back in and the car ran fine. I can't recommend them at the moment. Back to Bosch at this point, although they seem to last 60,000 miles or less.

These spools work well but have one major flaw. If you ever need to replace them, you may need to remove the valve cover. Why? The spark plug rubber cap is not connected to the coil. I have replaced the coils in both the 328i and X3. I also had to change the valve cover gasket on both. 3 out of 6 coils left a spark plug cap on the spark plug when I removed the coils. Bought 6 of these plugs for my 08 335i as the car was idling very restlessly at a red light. Installed along with 6 new Bosch spark plugs and my N54 is working like new again. Installation was very easy and fitted nicely. These Delphi IMO coils are much better than OEM Bosch coils. Perfect for my Mini R60 S All4. Perfect fit, OEM product. Fixed my problem with a slight slippage under load. One of the four didn't fit, but I'm not worried that Revane will fix it. BMW consultant recommended Delphi to Bosch due to potential sealing issues. The spools come in a regular box with a picture but rest assured the spool inside is correct. Each coil is a sealed plastic bag with bubble wrap. Looks higher quality than OEM Bosch, fits well and most importantly it works well. The BMW forums have confirmed my suspicion about the limited lifespan of OEM Bosch coils. After two separate replacements of Bosch single coils with Delphi units to fix misfires on my tuned 335i N54, I decided to replace the remaining OEM coils with Delphi parts.
