Genuine parts are always the best

Delphi TS10193 The engine coolant temperature sensor fixed a problem with severe idle fluctuations on a 2001 Saturn with a 1.9 liter Doc engine. The brass construction is superior to the original.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive

ECTS with brass tip. about coolant temp

This part fitted my 1999 Saturn SL perfectly. It should be noted that the sensor itself, unlike the picture, is made of brass and not Delrin. This should mean the part will last much longer than the original OEM part.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Sensor without plastic

I wanted a plastic sensor like the one pictured for my IAT sensor so it wouldn't soak up heat and take forever to reach actual temperature when it's on the road hot is on my saturn like brass gauges. Well, the brass sensor came.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great for my 1996 Saturn SL1

Great for my 1996 Saturn SL1. The quality seemed good. The old one was fine but I was doing some related work so I replaced it. I hope it lasts another 20 years, maybe I should hope not to drive this car in 20 years?

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No form required

It must be hot enough

Bought to replace a fan switch which I thought was not working. I learned that the machine has to reach 222 degrees before the cooling fan turns on. It works fine for this, but I think it's too hot. Now we need to test used ones to make sure it's the same.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Quality

Perfect for my 1997 Saturn SL1

Perfect for my 1997 Saturn SL1. From what I recall it came with thread sealant as in the photo. (Sealant, not Loctite, folks!) This little girl fixed a whole host of problems with my Saturn. I heard the fan turn on for the first time in a decade and was hooked.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • old

When to change? This part is located on top of the cylinder block and should be replaced if: HARD START HARD START STILL IDLE SENSOR NOT WORKING BAD FUEL SAVING BAD STRIP PERFORMANCE, AMONG MANY OTHER SYMPTOMS YOU WILL BE HAPPY WHAT YOU DID AND AT THE SAME TIME LEARN A LOT, WHY NOT ? THANKS!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • There are nuances

Better than the photo, works well.

Fits my 2001 Saturn SC2. This is a reliable replacement for the original factory resin sensor that was cracked. It doesn't look exactly like the photo - instead it's a brass tip, flat rather than rounded. The sensor pictured looks more like an OEM resin sensor, and brass is better. Also, the thread sealant was white, not that it matters much as long as it's there. Of course you have to reset the PCM after installation, but I had to bring my PCM in for a check right away so I didn't want to…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Guard
