2000 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 V6 with automatic transmission

My stock gear leaked at 208,000 miles. This replacement radiator is perfect for my truck. There are several videos on YouTube showing you where the brackets are located. I also swapped the upper and lower radiator hoses. Total installation time was about 2 hours. Easy job and a great price for a quality part from a major brand.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I don't remember

fits my 2001 3.4L V6; Transmission A340E Quad Cab Pre-Runner

There are several guides on the internet that will show you how to replace it. Make sure you have at least 3 jugs of coolant if you don't plan on reusing what you took out. I need two and more for the reservoir. You'll also spill gear oil, so be sure to get a liter for the amount you lose. I took my time to make sure I got the job done right, it took two hours in total.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Useless Features

FITS 2002 3.4L 4x4 Tacoma Perfect

Fits Perfect! I'm glad I read other reviews that show this part number is correct for the 02 Tacoma. Denso has a bug on another saying it fits. Easy installation by one person. The hardest part is removing the grill without breaking it. It has great tabs that line up perfectly with the holes on the bar, making it easy to thread the screws with no alignment required. Highly recommended! Don't go for the slightly cheaper version.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Defective cooling fins.

The resulting cooler had several defective rows of cooling fins. I tried clicking Product Support on Revain and it only brought up the manufacturer's website. A spokesman for the manufacturer said they do not ship their radiators directly to Revain and are not sure where Revain gets their stock from. After receiving my photos of the radiator, the manufacturer's rep recommended a replacement and confirmed that the radio received was faulty.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Fits 2003 Tacoma Double Cab

This product was ordered for my 2003 Tacoma Double Cab 3.4L V6. It fits perfectly. The packaging was in great condition when I finally received the product. The product was delayed and not delivered on the promised day. Upon opening the radiator fins were damaged in one spot and you can tell someone tried to go back and straighten the fins. Not that big of a deal, just expect perfect condition when brand new. Maybe next time just check Rockauto for faulty car items as they don't miss delivery…

Came damaged and needs improvement under

The cooler came with damaged cooling fins but the core was fine. There are no leaks yet. It was boxed with foam corner supports only - no protection for the cooling fins and transmission coolant lines. The dimensions of the heatsink were identical to the original, however the brackets were 3/8-1/2" too narrow (the height on each bracket was fine). "Of course, the mounting bracket screws were too short. So I replaced the screws on the skid plate and stock heatsink to make it fit. It was a…

  • cool product

  • I will write later

I did not save this radiator - I sent it back. The main reason why the 4 bolts of the radiator did not fit the truck. I was able to line up 2 of the 4 screws - I think I could take a dremel and line up the holes in the front hood but didn't want to go deep in. On the way I went to Car Quest. and bought a radiator for $60 more - it fit perfectly. It's just that I wasn't lucky this time - you never know what happened when ordering a part like this. The other thing is that the packaging was…
