This was perfect for my 2012 RAV4. This not only cleared my P0137 code (Check Engine light) but also solved another annoying problem. My Trac Off and 4WD lights came on and stayed on. Worse, the buttons that control these functions turned out to be disabled. The service manager at the local Toyota dealership could not explain the reason. I've driven 55 miles since replacing the O2 sensor and everything seems functional and stable. UPDATE February 28, 2020: A year after installation (almost to…

The only thing that wasn't cool was that the part had to go in.

This part fits my 2008 Japanese Rav4 Base 4 Cylinder Engine (Low Flow Sensor, Bank 1, Sensor 2). The check engine light went out and hasn't come back on. The plug was a perfect fit and the cord was just the right length. The only thing I didn't like was that the part had to come in a sealed bag with an anti-seize agent on it. I'm pretty sure someone ordered the part and it didn't fit their setup and returned the part by opening the bag and saving the ingredients. I wonder what would happen if I

Fixed code P0037 on my 2010 Toyota Camry SE 4 cylinder

My 2010 Toyota Camry SE (4 cylinder) check engine light and traction control came on at 70,000 miles. I had a local auto parts store read the OBDII codes with their tool for free and they got the message "P0037 Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 2". I called the local Toyota dealership in KC and they offered me four hundred and eighty dollars to fix it. I did some research on the internet and found that it is an OEM replacement part. I bought it here from Revain and paid my…

P0136 on Toyota Rav4 2010 (4 cylinders)

After installation, the sensor worked fine, at least I thought so. Removing the old Toyota brand O2 sensor (ironically supplied by Denso) required a blowtorch, an adjustable wrench with vise (after cleaning the hex edges with various wrenches) and a pipe (to increase the torque arm, i.e. more leverage on the sensor). adjustable wrench with vice). After a few days of driving the engine code P0136 (lower O2 sensor fault) came back (Autozone checked the code in addition to my own code reader, bank

06 Rav4 - 4 Cyclinder - Check Engine, 4WD, VSC and ABS lights removed!

After installing the O2 sensor the light would not come on. Works fantastic. FYI I changed the fuel ratio sensor at the same time as the O2 sensor, the two look the same and work together. Save yourself a $600 bill at the store. Note: Make sure your car is cold to the bone before doing any work or you will burn yourself. 1. Buy a $10 O2 sensor plug at the store or here at Revain to help you remove these devices.2. Use WD40 or any other suitable penetrating chemical you have and spray on, leave…

Very good oxygen sensor

My car is a 2009 Toyota RAV4 with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. I believe this oxygen sensor is an OE part (P/N 234-4622) because it fits perfectly and looks exactly like the one it replaced. The item itself is cheap but it was difficult to replace it myself. It was very difficult for me to unscrew the original sensor from the gas line as there was no room to turn the ratchet. In addition, it turned out that the plug was too high to retrieve with two hands from under the car where the sensor…
