👅 DenTek Tongue Cleaner, Twin Pack Review

I liked their concept, especially for the back teeth, but quickly became disillusioned. They are very poorly and cheaply made. The thread is very loose, not tight, which they do very poorly. Not worth the effort and will not work properly due to this design flaw. Try a different brand.

Tried these because they were cheaper than plackers. With little to no effort, the damn thread of dental floss came loose after I used it on a tooth! My dentist told me that when flossing, it's important that the floss is taut so it doesn't cut in. I thought maybe it was just one but NO almost the whole package failed my teeth and me! I stick to my regular drudges and pay more because I know they work!

There's a reason they're half the price of most others: They're terrible. Some of the floss (probably the main function) after about 5 teeth, if you're lucky, sags so much that it's completely useless. I would have to use 6 of these to clean my entire mouth once. I'm really amazed at how crappy they are - Amazon shouldn't even be selling them.

WARNING. With more than half of the threads in the pack, the thread is so slack between the ends that even a strong enough thread wouldn't work. The ones that have the thread properly tightened between the ends work decently, but probably only got 20 out of 75 right.

I initially bought three packs because of the reviews and the price. But it looks like the reviews relate to other products they sell. These Floss Bricks are complete garbage. After brushing two teeth, the floss becomes so loose that you can't even use it on other teeth. They coat the floss with so much flavoring dirt that it rubs off the first tooth you floss with. I bought these for my elderly father who is in long term care and sent to him because we can't visit him. I usually buy Rite Aid dental floss of a similar brand for him but I couldn't find it. He reports that DenTek is fine on the end of the floss, but the end of the prong breaks easily and gets stuck between teeth. Better than nothing, but he wasn't very impressed.

Excellent tongue cleaner, light and with a pleasant mint flavor. Rinse, shake dry and put back in the individual pouch for reuse. DenTek's instructions state that the scraper should be replaced every time you change your toothbrush, so I'm happy to know that each in a pack of two will last for several months. I have used a hard plastic tongue scraper for many years and expected it to be the same but a little softer as it has a rubber end instead of plastic. At first I didn't like it. I was expecting that rough plastic feel I'm used to and assumed it wouldn't work. But it works and it works well.
