Four stars for the feeding and watering equipment

I would give this product five if the hay sack was a bit bigger. Got these bags in 2017, the horses finally ate them and it's 2021. Strong and durable.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Get one! the best feeding and watering equipment

It really works! He looks great, seems strong, my horse loves to suckle and I swear he spends so much time eating that he doesn't eat that much. It takes about 3 hours to eat 2 cereals, it used to take 20 minutes.

  • An absolute legend

Costs money! on horseback

Very well made and will hold some thick hay flakes. I've read of people making horses tear them up. I didn't see any damage to either of them. Well made and strong built. Highly recommended

  • Easy to install

Five Stars: Stable Supplies

Great Haysack. It holds about 3 hay flakes and is very durable. I haven't had it for almost a year and it has withstood my very destructive horse. I removed the long strap because it seemed perfect for him to put his foot in.

  • Sleek Design

I am very satisfied with this hay sack

I am very satisfied with this hay sack. I found it easy to load (three large flakes) and following another reviewer's instructions, I crossed the top straps before hanging it on the fence and my boys munched contentedly. Very little waste and they didn't open the velcro. I will now complete my purchase by buying two more.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good quality, seems durable

In use for about 3 months. Quality is good, seems durable. We have several rodent nets and thought this might be a good option. What I don't like is the top clasp. The straps cross and if you try to fuel with one hand it won't work. There is velcro on the top to hold the middle together and after a few days it's so full of hay that there's no way to connect to the other side.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Great quality but still prefer my hay nets

Overall I like this product but I probably wouldn't buy it again as there are a few downsides that take away from the positive aspects of the hay nets I use be weighed up. Pros: - very well made - held up very well to my "greedy" eaters - adjustable straps - tether strap makes this bag perfect for hanging on a gate or fence as it minimizes movement and can take the haysack off of what it is too fasten and make it easier for the horse to eat - easier to load than trying to load hay without a…

Pretty well made slow feed pouch

We have four horses and have tried many types of slow feed pouches and nets over the past three years. This is one of the best hay bags on the market. The body of the bag is very well made. The weakest point of the bags are the straps (see photo) and specifically the way the D-rings attach. A simple improvement on the part of the manufacturer would be to sew the webbing next to the D-rings instead of tying them. Our four-legged horse Palomino managed to rip off the straps and rings the first…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Almost never

Super strong but not PS resistant.

The straps are really thick but don't expect them to last a full year. In half a year the horses managed to tear the straps across and one side seam was completely torn, but I sewed them up again with bale twine, which we have no shortage of. But horses are destructive, so I expected damage. They must be made of Kevlar to be truly horse resistant. I'm replacing them now and hope they last a little longer this time but at least they keep the hay off the ground and slow the eating so the horses…
