Wrong size.: Terminals

The inner diameter of the seal is larger than the outer diameter for which it is designed. I am assuming that it is actually a 3" washer that is incorrectly labeled as a 2". The material appears to be PTFE. Very difficult.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect alcohol column seals

I have replaced all silicone seals with Teflon due to problems with chemical evaporation and contamination from the silicone. Teflon seals are stiffer and require better clamp compression, but this gives you a cleaner product. So, as I said, I replaced the silicone with teflon, I have no leaks and am very happy with the result.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Minor issues

too thin for sealing hydraulic equipment

I ordered a set of 5 as I needed one to supplement my brewing equipment and it's good to have a few extra on hand. I've bought them before and had good luck with them. They're a little thinner than my previous set and don't seal the tip groove even when the clamps are pulled down. This brings me to my next review of their 2" triple clamps. Yes, the quality also goes down.
