You have no idea how good this product is. So many times I've bought brands, and they've been BLOW! Bought including Oxo and after 3 days the bottom glass just separated and there was sugar everywhere. Then I bought a second time and again the same! This product was cheap and durable and I've had it for a while now and no cracks! I would highly recommend this item for its elegant looks and durability. Don't be fooled by expensive brands and buy this!

The automatic dispensing portion of this product worked ONCE: the very first time I filled it and used it for tea. Since then there has been NO MEASURED amount; It is simply poured out until the container is completely empty. I know it doesn't mean it's airtight or anything, but I think sugar should be airtight. There's a lid over the spout, but it's very flimsy. Then it just pops. I was hoping it would be some sort of sliding lid. The sugar becomes lumpy in the air and can no longer be removed from the container. You have to keep tapping the floor to shake off the sugar.
