Works well in heat foil, frosted and braided

Wrapped it around my new header, it held up well at first, then after a few weeks it started falling apart, not strong enough

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great exhaust wrap best in exhaust and emissions

Great service and product exactly as described. I used this product to wrap the headers on my 1986 Yamaha Radian and I purchased stainless steel zip ties from NAPA at Revain. Great combo and at least half the price online than your local auto parts store.

Fake - doesn't work at all!

I measured the temperature of each manifold before and after. This product did not reduce the heat. I suspect it's a fake based on the way it was packaged (simple), how easily it wore out, all the fiberglass pieces flying all over the place, how tight it got when wrapped in a curve and smoked. like crazy on my first test drive. Bottom line - it didn't work at all. I should have read all the negative reviews before buying :-( Try it and find the REAL DEI lava wrap!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgradable

Works Well, Looks Good

Titanium Foil is a great product that offers excellent thermal insulation. However, it is a bit difficult to work with. It comes off much easier than fiberglass wrap, so you have to be careful with cut ends. Also, it doesn't stretch as much as fiberglass, so make sure you calculate the amount you need carefully. I figured it would take me 20-25 feet to wrap two inner tubes on my bike and I ended up using almost 30 with only 1/2-3/4 inch of overlap. Just because it's not fiberglass doesn't mean…
