I really liked these hinges at first. They seemed strong enough for standard size interior doors. But no matter how much I fiddle, I can't get them to create a tight seal. Now, one might wonder if this is simply user error. I confirm that this is NOT me. I've had success with two other hinges of the same size/radius from other manufacturers. Both work great and don't require multiple attempts. They're attractively priced, so I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1.

Purchased to replace the old gold ones while replacing all the doors. They fit perfectly into existing cut-outs in the door frame. Minor complaints but the pin is a bit difficult to remove and I had to flip them over and remove them with a punch and hammer before installing. Also, do not forget to lubricate them, because shortly after installation they began to creak. However, a little 3-in-1 oil fixed it immediately and they glide silently now. Very dark almost black but looks great once installed. They've been sitting for 2 weeks now, nothing creaks yet. They're varnished and there have been a few Scratches out of 30 none of which were worth throwing away the loop. The black marker has tinted them beautifully. They all match the previous doors and frames perfectly. You can separate them but you will need a hammer and punch (like those most hinges).
