I have a Fredde desk from Ikea. The front corners have two cutouts for cup holders. If you remove the cup holders, the thing fits perfectly. To make it a little more secure I wrapped it with a piece of velcro where it connects to the table. It is very practical that there is a socket and a USB socket nearby. Very happy.
