Robust and Dependable Automotive Socket

This deep socket is ideal for all kinds of automotive work. Its durable construction and precision design make tough jobs a breeze. Its versatility and easy-to-use design are great for both novice and professional mechanics. The only downside is that the price is a bit steep for those on a tight budget. Overall, this is a well-made tool that will last for years and make any automotive project easier.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting construction
Cons
  • Not compatible with all fasteners due to its 12 point design

Replaces many brand new Craftsman sockets with Dewalt

Quality chrome socket with a wide center hole that fits in my socket organizer. In truth I had to replace many heads from my new set of Craftsman Ultimate Mechanics heads as various random heads would not slide over the pin into their intended slot due to the very small center holes in the square drive socket. Dewalt has never let me down.

Pros
  • Polished chrome vanadium finish
Cons
  • No instructions

Removing the Golf Cart Axle Castle Nut

I bought this to remove the castle nut on the rear axle of my EZGO golf cart. It fit perfectly and withstood some pressure when I used a 3 inch cheat bar. I actually broke off 2 socket extensions in the process and left no marks on the socket itself. PS - I ended up having to take a cart to a tire shop, the bushings couldn't provide enough torque to remove the nut but the bushing did. Delay.

Pros
  • Knurled Ring
Cons
  • Some small things
