DEWALT DW2570 Countersink 32 Inch Drill Review

I didn't rate this well because I have to use a chuck because none of my bit holders hold this thing. And as you know you tend to switch back and forth as you build and that only makes it harder.

I've used these tapered bits in woodworking for years and they are second to none. Great that you can buy them without a countersink as they don't wear out or break as much so they can be moved from one drill to another.

I have a box full of wood screws/counter drill bits. I've tried all sorts and this is the only one that works consistently. All others overheat easily or drill poorly, or the drill or countersink rotates. I've tried various methods (including Loctite) to prevent this from happening, but none of the solutions worked for very long. The only wood screw/countersink drill that works smoothly, quickly and without rotation is the Dewalt drill. Highly recommended.
