A Total Disappointment

I'm almost completely familiar with Dewalt power tools and when I needed a decent concrete drill I figured Dewalt would know how to make one. nope Completely wrong. After dipping 1 inch into the concrete, I saw shavings at the tip of the shovel. After another 1 inch, the blade collapsed completely. Waste of time and money buying this beat and waiting for it.

Doesn't work well in concrete

I have a DeWalt masonry bit (which I love!) and was hoping these high impact masonry bits would make the job easier. The beats were useless. More than one hole didn't work. Cheap bits that came with stone screws worked better and lasted longer. Bought some cheap parts from Ace which also worked better and lasted longer. Don't waste money.

Reliable and Accurate

For drilling 2-1/2 inch deep holes in 3 month old high strength concrete for installing threaded anchors. The 1/4" diameter hole was accurate and met the requirements of the cone lock anchors I installed. After cleaning dust from the hole and some cooling water, I drilled ten holes with ease. Obvious blunting or drop in bit performance.
