🔶 DEWALT DXV04T Yellow Portable 4 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner Review

This guy is a tough horse. I had the traditional look, but this one is a step up. Lightweight and easy to carry, it has a hidden compartment for extra accessories. I use it for everything from cleaning the garage to vacuuming the car. Feel free to get it.

I bought this vacuum for $60 which is a lot. A 7 foot hose is not sufficient for many applications. However, the Home Depot brand 1-7/8" x 20" rigid hose threads into Dewalt fittings on the vacuum and attachment ends to replace the 7ft hose when needed. DeWalt did a great job developing this wet/dry vacuum. This is a 4 gallon tool box design that fits in a compact space. Heavy-duty flip-up handle works well with gloved hands. The large waterproof on/off switch is located on the top and is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The pictures of this vacuum on Revain are misleading as they don't show the bag. The bag is listed as an accessory. I tried using this bagless thinking it would be ok since it has a filter to clean. The filter clogged up after about 5 minutes of use, rendering the vacuum cleaner unusable. Too bad because I thought it looked like every other wet/dry vacuum I've had (i.e. it works great without the bag) but it clearly isn't. My 4 gallon DeWalt shop vacuum (mains model) arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was carefully packed. The construction is solid, as you would expect from a product with the DeWalt name. The plastic components use high-quality, very strong materials and feel solid and heavy. The side walls and lid are pleasantly thick and should last longer than I did. Bought this to clean the ash pan on my Kamado Joe grill. The smaller and more flexible hose makes cleaning the ash and firebox much easier. Although this is a good compact vacuum cleaner, the price is very high. The vacuum cleaner comes with a hose, 2 extensions, crevice nozzle, floor nozzle, paper bag (DXVA25-4040), cartridge filter and foam pre-filter.
