We have just moved into our new house and while hanging curtains we found that we had to drill through the underside of some joists to get the height we wanted. It's clear my old drills weren't in debt and a few of them broke trying to do this. These didn't break. Loved the compact case it comes in, it's also easy to store in the drill case which is very handy. The price was pretty good value too. I'm currently looking at her stonework and a few other sets to add to my husband's collection.
The case is strong and comfortable. My ex-husband has two Dewalt drill presses, but he never bought bits and only collected a few from who knows where. Or maybe he bought some. He tends to put things where he left them. He lost his hammers. How do you even lose a hammer. Not to mention hammers. I bought them to finally get some work done before he runs away with drill bits he can barely use. It's nice to have a full range of bit sizes in one place. And know what size I use. I have had to drill through metal for several projects and my standard drill set was not up to the task. I was a little concerned that they would somehow not work based on various reviews. I shouldn't have worried. I first drilled out a steel bolt on a broken bike - it worked and I was able to drill a hole for a new bolt. I drilled through the steel roof and through the support beam underneath to secure the chimney cap. I drilled 20 holes in a steel cart (driven by an ATV) so we can use guy…
Wow after reading the reviews I really don't believe 100% good or bad reviews now unless 1 star. Many people these days write exaggerated reviews or genuinely hate reviews because they are spending their money so cheaply. To be honest the price of this item is decent, of course everyone wants cheaper price to get better reviews. For this price I say good. If an item is too cheap or too good to be true, you know what happened. The case came as shown in the picture. I've been using it in my drill
