Very nice traditional sports car that looks like a pen. The fit was fine. It took me a few tries to line it up correctly. The numbers are engraved, not painted on like some others. I got the plain unpainted silver because I was concerned about the paint peeling off the colored versions. Polished metal is very soft. I bought this to replace the gear knob on my Kia. It was a round plastic thing and it fell apart. It looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. I bought this to replace an old black/round very plain gear knob on a Cobra 65. Fits comfortably in the hand thanks to the aluminum construction and the numbers are engraved very clearly. I knew I was taking a bit of a risk buying this for my 2010 Honda Fit but as the price was right I figured why not? While installation is very easy, don't expect to ever have to assemble and hold the handle straight. Every time I tried to line up the shift numbers the way they should, the knob would always loosen when shifting. This shift knob was a great addition to my 2002 Mazda Protege. They sent me the wrong yarn sample but I just ordered another one in a different color so I now have 2. They use the same adapter so they are interchangeable. Mazda Protege uses M10 - 1.25 instead of M10 - 1.50. Replaced the factory switch on my 2002 Civic SI aka ep3 model. I bought a used car and the original factory shifter wasn't that old, it was cracked at the top and looked like some kind of gel was about to tear.
