Read my review then buy, don't even hesitate.

I love love love it! I've used it for over 10 years but stopped using it for a while and found I didn't remove all of my makeup and it got my pajamas and everything else wet with my regular cleanser. All you have to do is take all your makeup, rub it dry, take a damp washcloth and then wipe it off. Then when you want to take your wet washcloth after rinsing it off and give your face some more rinsing, and vala, your face will be sparkling clean! Then take your toner and use cotton to make up…

This is NOT the original - this is a fake!

I have been using this product for many years. Last year I decided to get it cheaper so I bought this one. It looks almost identical to the actual product you buy direct from DHC, but it is NOT! I think at first I even left a review saying it was good until I kept using it and realized it was fake. When I bought the next bottle direct from DHC, it was confirmed. The product here is a fake! The original is odorless, thicker and slightly different in color. Also, the original works much better…

DHC is a quality makeup remover

After trying Banila's Clean It Zero, micellar water and of course wipes, I returned to DHC cleansing oil. I use Chanel mascara (not even waterproof) and removing all mascara residue is a problem. It seems to me that this mascara is worse, but I like it. Either way, I think Clean it Zero comes closest to the competition in terms of usability and efficiency. Cleans zero, which is good because it's firm (more travel friendly), but I felt DHC worked better for everyday use with less friction and…

A new formula for DHC cleaning oil?

Not sure if DHC changed their cleaning oil formula or what. I've been using this product for years and love it, but this latest bottle doesn't seem to have the same qualities. The color of the oil is slightly darker than before. It may not matter, but the texture of the oil is also different. It's heavier and doesn't wash off as cleanly as it used to. Even after washing it off my skin, my skin feels oily. After using mild DHC soap my skin is fine. The oil appears to be fine for the most part…

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other products

Definitely worthy HG

Let me preface this with words: Beware of fakes. This is a common occurrence with this product at Revain. Either buy direct from their website or make sure you receive your order from DHC and not another seller. I used to use coconut oil and tea tree oil for my OCM. I've tried castor oil. Thats much better. It acts like an oil on dry skin and emulsifies on contact with water. However, I personally still use an oil-free cleaner. The only thing that irritates me is the value for money. The bottle

Old but nice

I just LOVE this cleaning oil! I started using cleaning oils about 6 months ago when I finally opened my test pack of dhc cleaning oil. If you had told me before to wash my oily, blemish-prone skin with oil I would have thought you crazy, but now, WOW! What a difference this has made to my cleanse as I am now doing a double cleanse as a Korean and Japanese starting with this oil and my face has never been clearer! And after taking off your makeup, washing your face and rinsing off with this…

Fake makeup for makeup

I don't know what the witchcraft is, but it's crazy. I apply Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation baked with powder and setting spray, waterproof mascara and eyeliner and it all melts away in seconds. You don't even need a washcloth, all you have to do is rub the oil on your face for about 30 seconds and then rinse off with water. It doesn't even leave a trace of mascara under my eyes and doesn't leave an oily residue on my skin after I wash it off. For the record, I have oily, acne-prone…

  • High score for support and perseverance from testers
Cons
  • I'm worried

Amazing and makes my skin soft!

This cleaning oil is the best! I apply it to a dry face with dry fingers and really ruins all my makeup. I then get up with water and make sure to clean twice with a water based cleanser (cetafil works great). I put on heavy waterproof makeup and it comes off to the last drop! I have oily skin prone to acne but it doesn't bother me. I've been using this for years and can't imagine using makeup remover wipes or any other cleanser. The pharmaceutical cleansing balm broke me and has plastic…
