Thought I'd buy a 50 pack. If you search Amazon or go to Homedepot you can get 50 for $17-18. I sent the disk back. I gave a bad review for the price, not the grinding wheel. I've used these discs in many projects and they work great.

present They can last a very long time if you sand a flat surface with no edges to snag. If there are edges, you're spending more than you need to because the edges will tear just as easily as cheaper paper. I agree that if used properly they can last ten times longer or longer.

These net discs won't last any longer than paper discs. They wear out really fast! I sanded the edges of the 4x4 post I had just trimmed and noticed in just 20 seconds that the sanding coating in the center of the disc was gone and the mesh (fabric) was exposed. After a few more seconds the entire disc was gone with a few patches of no abrasive coating rendering the disc unusable. This is a mistake, I will return to paper discs as soon as possible.

I can safely say this is the WORST sandpaper I have ever used. I make sausage boards and a piece of sandpaper can't even sand a board! It's absolutely ridiculous how awful they were. As soon as this sandpaper hits a sharp corner, it starts to tear completely. "10 times longer life" is more like "10 times shorter life". A complete waste of money. Worst of all, I love Diablo products. All my blades are Diablo. I will not take this patch anymore.

These discs don't last ten times longer than traditional orbital discs. After all, they wear out faster. I used 80 grit to roughen up the outer surface of the paint. At very low pressure they disintegrate. They don't protect the orbital rim like the paper ones, and even with the included adapter, you can see wear on the Velcro. Diablo makes great cutting blades. Your grinding department needs to completely rethink their product line as both this and the paper backing are of very high quality.

I hated these grids, as soon as I start sanding they start falling apart, small red particles appear with almost no work.
