I was surprised how thin and pointed the metal tail is. I'm afraid I might poke my Yorkie in the eye or something. However, it has become so easy to part her hair for her topknot so there are no small hairs to pull. And the comb teeth are so pretty, they just slide through your hair. I'm learning to use it in such a way that I never poke her.

This is one of my favorite combs that I use to curl my pixie haircut. The ponytail goes right through my curls and the comb picks up every strand of hair which I love.
