Impressed! - Hair care

Not exactly what I expected as I have very carefully measured and adjusted my current curlers to my current ones. But I tried them and now I will NOT go back to them. my originals. I have very thin long hair and have to use #5 gel to curl my hair. With my old curlers I managed to curl for 1-2 hours; But now with these new curlers I get a lot of curls that last all day. I'm really excited about this size. These are the Guardians! They're well made and I originally picked them because they said…

Feel free to try out these old school roles.

I use it to straighten curly hair. Creates a slight wave and is much better than smoothing. After drying my hair with a hair dryer, I immediately wind up the curlers. (It's okay if the hair is still a bit damp). Let your hair dry completely. The hair is straight, especially at the ends. I do a quick touch with a flat iron to reduce frizz if needed.

Rinse without heating?!

This is a great way to beat the heat and still look stylish. I try to grow my hair out and have a hard time letting it air dry - it always comes out frizzy, straight in some places and uneven waves in others. I have tried many air drying products and have never been happy with the results. But it's legal! It's not perfect, it's not as durable as a good blow dryer or curling iron, but it doesn't damage my hair and I still feel presentable! My hair is just below my shoulders, damaged and thin…

Old school curlers give smooth results

I have found that my hair looks healthier and longer if I take the time to curl it after washing. I use these rollers and apply some Camille Rose Cocoa Nibs & Honey Ultimate Growth Serum to the ends while I curl and secure each section with bobby pins. Then I sit under the hair dryer to dry and after removing the curlers my hair looks smooth, healthy and beautiful. The whole process takes time but I think my hair is worth it. The price of these reels is great as the reels will last forever if…

Pros
  • Large selection

I made the mistake of reading the questions first and bought too many packs. If you are here to buy 2 inch rolls they come in packs of 12 not 6. Also don't know why they are advertised as not requiring clamps but that is not true. They still get four stars because that's what I thought before I bought them and they are exactly the same as the ones my barber uses.

Love these but not MAGNETIC

Love these skates but not MAGNETIC! I don't know why it's in the title. I am 71 years old with thinning hair that has grown back during COVID. These curlers need long alligator clips to stay in place. They add volume to my limp straight hair. Exactly what I expected!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

How are they magnetized?

I don't understand how these are supposed to work. I couldn't get her to stay inside long enough to even insert a clip. I have. dry ok? Thin hair. I really wish they would work because the velcro rollers are tearing out my already thin hair!

Pros
  • kit complete
Cons
  • confused

Very disappointed with styling tools and gadgets

I was so hoping that these magnetic rollers would work. I currently use velcro hair curlers and have found them to cause hair breakage. When I saw these magnetic ones I thought this is what I need as they are very smooth. I was so disappointed because even with the hair clips I couldn't get them to stay in my hair. They can fit people with thick hair. I have very thin hair. I wanted to return them but they are non-refundable.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • A few little things
