Simple comb, definitely seems smoother than most. I only bought it because it was only $2 at the time. Thought the oil-soaked statement was a joke, but you don't actually have to thumb through your hair to see if it's true (would still add, but definitely has kind of a type of its own compared to a regular comb). That doesn't happen with this color, I got a beautiful, almost aquamarine, green/blue. It doesn't matter, the same product. Suitable for curly hair 3a. I would buy it if needed/lost.

I used to have combs that detangle my hair better. It's just a wide-toothed comb. If that's what you're looking for, it's good for the price. If you have really thick, tangled hair that needs taming, look elsewhere.

Strong comb with wide teeth. Strong enough to help me untangle my tangled hair in the shower but not hard enough to hurt. I ordered this after my last wide tooth comb broke when I dropped it in the shower. This one fell down, it didn't break. Big scam. I ordered a mint green scallop. Like others, I got a white crest. I wear glasses/contacts but don't usually put lenses on before my morning shower. Comb dropped and gone he was. The white color matches the shower floor and countertop. Not perfect

As it's fortified I'm not sure if it's CGM (Curly Girl Method) approved. But the first brush let me use my daughter on her hair. And that's saying a lot, because she hated combs!
