These shorts are good for the price but be aware that they are cheaply made, some of the stitching is sloppy and rushed. The belt loops came loose after my son put them on once. You can still wear it, but not for much longer.

They are very small at the waist. My son wears a size 7 but is changing to a size 8. All of his other size 8 shorts are a bit loose. We bought them a size 8 and not Jose. These shorts are also long. We gave them to a neighbor friend who is slimmer and shorter than my son.

I give them three stars because on both pairs I ordered the seam for a belt loop went through the elastic for waist adjustment so the adjustment on one side of each pair was ineffective. I had to rip the stitching to release the elastic and then sew the belt loop back on. I ordered school pants from 6 different brands for my very slim 7 year old and they were MUCH better for my slim child. My 7 year old son is tall and skinny and you don't fit in his pants.
