Digiparts RC-6 Wireless Remote Control for Canon EOS Cameras: T3i, 60D, T2i, 7D, T1i, 6D, 60Da, T4i, 5D Mark III Review

It worked when I first used it, right after I got it, but I was right in front of the camera, even a foot away from it. The second time I tried using it as a remote control from 3ft away from the camera, it didn't work. Should have listened to other reviewers. Unfortunately I lost the return window but luckily it was only $7. Should have opted for an original Canon product, stupid. I had a Canon remote and it worked great for 3 years until it fell in the river. I'm going back to Canon.

It's great for me. It fills in the target. In this price range, however, you can't complain. The buyer must be sure that this meets their needs. Very Short Range: Doesn't work at 25ft. Not for "street" self-portraits. 1-Great for indoor family photos without worrying about using the timer. 2-For taking funny surprise shots of your siblings after you keep the camera on. : )3-Great for the occasional sunrise and sunset shot when you don't need to move the camera.

I used to have a Revain remote made for Canon which worked great and was inexpensive as <-- unfortunately I lost it and apparently it's no longer for sale. Compared to the Revain remote I had, I would say the performance of this remote is pretty poor. To connect it to the camera I have to be in the right place, hold the button down for a while, etc. This remote certainly works and is cheap, but I will buy another remote like this one. it just doesn't work like it should.
