Volume control final

I bought a Vizio Bluetooth TV but it didn't control the volume on my Harman Kardon Onyx Bluetooth speaker. Without the extra output, I couldn't play the audio. After researching solutions, I found that I needed a digital to analog controller. I bought one from a big store and it worked but no volume control. FINALLY this remote controlled DAC box gave me the ability to adjust the volume.

Pros
  • ➋ Supports sampling rates of 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz and 192kHz; 24-bit incoming S/PDIF bitstream on left and right channels, supports speakers and headphones simultaneous playback.
Cons
  • Expensive

Works great.

Modern flat screen TVs sound crappy. Didn't want to spend more money on another soundbar. So I decided to use an old Altec/Lansing computer speaker system that I already had but no longer used. Problem: Altec had a mini jack input. The LG TV only had a digital (Toslink) optical output. What to do? This adapter solved the problem. Sounds good and includes a downloadable remote control. Problem solved. So far, so good. worked for me Good luck Ric

Pros
  • ➊ D/A Audio Converter: Converts coaxial or bi-directional PCM digital audio signals to analog L/R RCA audio signals.
Cons
  • boring packaging

If you go to "Firestick Settings" > "Hardware Manager" > "TV" > "IR Protocols" (infrared for power and volume control), you can get the IR code from the device your Firestick is connected to , update with something - something else. Unfortunately, when I contacted the…
