As long as the thermometer works, it's easy to connect and read digital values. But the thermometer is beginning to die. It then stops working, reads incorrectly and gets stuck in Celsius. Eventually it comes to a complete standstill. No first aid helps.

Perfect. Big numbers, easy to use and already set to read US temperatures. Simply insert the tip into the meat - wait a minute or less and check the temperature. how easy is it The only complaint I have is that the tip you insert into the meat is pretty sharp. So be careful not to prick yourself when using it.

Have this for small cuts of meat there is an old fashioned one but it won't do for anything small. The thing lasts about a second and is amazing. It seems pretty accurate and $10 is a steal. I used to have to guess when my chicken was done, take it off the grill, cut it in half and check if it was cooked through. If not, I'd have to put the two pieces back on the grill and try again. Not to mention my chicken would be over cooked, dry and chewy if I waited too long. Now I can pierce it with one and you'll know in a second if it's done or not. Good product!

I had a digital wireless thermometer with a probe, transmitter and receiver. My helpful son and daughter-in-law decided my kitchen needed a tidy up and the probe was gone. I tried to buy a replacement sensor but couldn't find one that was calibrated for the transmitter so the temperature was 20 degrees cooler. I decided to switch to this device after seeing Elton Brown on Good Eats and he recommended this type of thermometer.

Very impressed with it. It's a quick read, and compared to the old Mercury I've been using for years, the two seemed only a few degrees apart. The magnet on the bottom is a nice touch and is easy to attach under the grill or on the side of the fridge. I have no idea about the shelf life, I suspect it won't last as long as my old Mercury so I'm not getting rid of it, but for now this will be my go-to meat thermometer.

I wish I had bought this sooner! I struggled for years with a crappy little meat thermometer that only worked half the time. In the end I gave up and bought something new. I was a bit skeptical when I came across this product as it seemed so cheap but I love it. I've been using it for at least a year now and it has never let me down. I even bought my daughter. It's easy to read, easy to clean, and magnetic so it's always easy to find on the fridge! One of my best Revain purchases.
