Hooked up to my Saab 3 cylinder 2 stroke engine exactly as instructed. Started the engine at idle which showed 3460 rpm (far from it!). Then the screen went black and never came back. Throw away $60!

The touch works perfectly, there are no complaints about the design. I bought two of these. One I-panel is attached with Velcro, the other I-panel is attached to the control box. The only wish is that it has replaceable batteries.

Bought for my 1500sxr a year ago and it still works great. Recently bought one for another ski and immediately after installing it stopped working. They replaced it and after a few weeks the device died and they refused to guarantee it. Now buy other brands for my other PWC.

I'm a volunteer firefighter in Bandera. We use these tachometers on our pumps on our brush trolleys. Oil changes are extremely important to keep our machines running. These tachometers are easy to install and inexpensive. The only change I would like to see is a removable battery. Replacing the tachometer when the battery dies is a bit of a hassle. Overall this is a great product.

Nothing wrong with the tachometer but I spent money buying it because it doesn't read it reads correctly only if you have an engine that sparkles once every 360 degrees if your engine does every 180 RPM twinkles, he doubles. Some tiny touches have a "select button" to select any method, but this is not the case, although one of the pictures shows it.
