Couldn't be happier

When I first bought it, I didn't understand some things and emailed the seller through Revain and got an immediate reply. After finally figuring out how it works, I copied 20 Super 8mm tapes. Some images are blurry and faded, but that's to be expected when dealing with videos that are over fifty years old. I am very pleased!

Pros
  • scanner and accessories
Cons
  • too stupid

Not what I paid for!

We were very happy about it. We have family home videos from the 50's and later. We looked forward to digitizing all of this and distributing copies to all family members. The manual was a literal translation from Chinese, so it didn't make much sense. We're figuring out how to start, but that's where it ends. The film will not feed, once you line it up in the right place it will move about 1 inch and stop. The spool only spins when you open the film covers slightly, but even then it stops with

Pros
  • Regular 8 and Super 8 Roll Film (Optional) - The Super 8/Regular 8 switch lets you easily convert Regular 8 and Super 8 video files to MPEG-4 (MP4) video files.
Cons
  • So far so good
