I use it for my aquarium drip water changing system. I hook this up to a float switch to stop water flowing into my aquarium if the water level is too high. Has been working flawlessly for 9 months now.

Currently using this to control the CO2 flow to my tank. It gets a little hot so I used an adjustable AC/DC adapter and increased the voltage just enough to open the pipe.

Gets very hot if used for more than a few minutes at a time. Not useful for my app as I wanted it on for hours. It is probably normal for brief on-times to occur. I said hot yes it will burn your fingers!

It worked fine for about 5 months and then stopped working. The valve cannot be opened when the relay has switched on the current. I hear a very slight continuous noise, but no water comes out. When it works properly I hear a distinct click and the water comes out smoothly.
