After 2 attempts and further research to get the item in question it became pretty clear that this particular set was not made as described here on Revain. This is a set of 18 canvases with beige Aida fabric, NOT 14 canvases with black fabric.

Looks the same as in the photo. I look forward to every bright stitch! I think it's a very small number 20 and I use a magnifying glass. And it may take me quite a long time to finish this project, but I'm enjoying it very much. I was looking for a company and the cost of Revain is a steal. However, it is 18 counts on beige Aida canvas.

I haven't gotten very far on this project but the kit is very good. The thread is already split - no need to try to decide which is medium red and which is light brick. The instructions and cross stitch pattern are easy to read and follow. The finished product will be a decent size and very detailed. For this price, finished products tend to be much smaller or simpler. Will definitely be buying another set in the future although this one will probably last a while.
