This is too cute. I went ahead and took some creative liberties and personalized it a bit. Love it.

Very fun design. Many personalization options. Using these simple patterns, I taught my daughter to embroider with a cross. Really funny!

Loved it and can't wait to do more portraits! The patterns are great and there were a lot of different thread colors to start with. The included hoop was warped so the fabric was difficult to train but easy to replace.

I didn't know what to expect from this book. I liked it well enough. The Aida paper wasn't the best, as was the tire (nearly busted trying to tighten it). But I liked the patterns. I'm new to cross stitch so this was a good beginner course for me. It was easy to understand and I was able to do a pretty cute portrait of my family with it.

The pattern and thread were fine but the fabric that came with the kit was unusable due to quality control issues. It was askew and too loosely woven. On the left is the supplied fabric, on the right is the replacement fabric I bought. One of the reasons I buy kits instead of samples is that the nearest craft store is 45 minutes away. So having to travel back and forth because I couldn't use the fabric that came with the kit was very disappointing.

This was the funnest cross stitch I've ever made! I'm new to this and found the instructions very easy! I was a little intimidated at first but found it easy to focus on each person. Lots of thread, great fabric. The key to making everything look good is to make sure your stitches go in the same direction every time. I'm giving it to my husband for Father's Day. I liked it so much that I made his parents too. It was so much fun personalizing them! These are great gifts!
