I installed them in my small home office and they work great. My only complaint is that the shading is a bit difficult to get right, but after a few tries I was able to bring them together.

A lamp that is used daily has now developed some sort of "Poltergeist" activity. He seems to have a mind of his own. We changed the lightbulb, changed the sockets (daughter is a retired oil electrician) and dismantled almost everything. I think you get what you pay for, but this type of lamp shouldn't be expensive - the concept isn't "rocket science" and has been around for at least 4 decades, so the only difference now is quality control/quality. Warranty.

Only one day/night but love these! I replaced my bedside lamps because I hated having to sit up all the way to turn them off every time I wanted to go to sleep. That's great! You can touch anywhere and they turn off. I also like how I can slowly adjust to the brightness in the morning and turn it all the way on when needed. Putting the velcro curtains on was a little annoying but I like it because I move a lot and they don't get destroyed like other things in previous moves. Super practical USB

We bought a touch sensitive table lamp and decided it suited our needs, albeit a bit overpriced. When the need for additional lights arose, we ordered this pair of worthless floats. Just so you know, the lampshades consist of two "brass rings" with velcro on each, allowing the lampshade (which comes rolled up and velcro in the appropriate places) to be "assembled" by the owner. 2.5 stars. The lamps are very durable and work great. My problem is with lampshades. They are supplied unassembled so are flat packed. Not a big deal, except that the velcro used for mounting sucks. The shadow does not stick well to metal rings. Also, the screen is about 1/2 inch too big for the rings. The good news is that we were able to glue the shades together to make them look normal. We love these lamps. I was concerned about fitting the lampshade but once it unfolded it fit snugly into the frame and is securely fastened. Of course, the Velcro will wear out if you take it off and put it back on several times. But since we don't do that, we don't have to worry about wear and tear on the Velcro. It's hard to understand how a company can produce such a faulty product. The overall design and assembly of the lampshade is just awful. Bought these lights twice. The first time around the lampshades that wrap around the brass rings were too long, the velcro fell off and the wrong side of the velcro got stuck to the rings rendering the whole arrangement completely unusable. Read the reviews before you buy! I would like to have! The lamps are great when assembled, but this do-it-yourself velcro lampshade was very difficult to assemble. In order for the velcro to work you must have 2 parts: One part has "hooks" that stick to the other part which is fuzzy. The velcro on these lampshades is fuzzy - the only part with velcro that actually hooks is on the vertical of the lampshade fabric (where you attach the ends of the fabric together).
