We ordered this because our RV fridge wasn't burning. After ruling out a few other things, we concluded it was probably the fee. I did a little research and ordered this one. It arrived on time and my husband installed it without my major problems. It's a good thing that our refrigerator is now working as it should.

My 17 year old wheeled fridge stopped working on 120 volt AC. I changed the fuse on the motherboard but it blew again. Either there was a short circuit somewhere or the circuit board was broken. I tested two heaters to see if they were bad and they tested within limits. So it remains to change the board. I did that and it's working again. $2,500 fridge swap averted.

The board is easy to install with detailed instructions. The board is configured for multiple Norcold units but is easily configured with a jumper. The device is of high quality, imitating an OEM circuit board at the connection points and markings. Issue that led to this product: In a van fridge the ignition/sensor sparks, the burner ignites and maintains a good flame. After about 20 seconds, the circuit board cut off the gas supply and the spark, so the refrigerator basically does not "burn". The letter 'F' appears on the Norcold fridge display. Awesome! I have my Norcold N640 fridge and saved a lot of money compared to buying a new one. Easy to set up, easy to install, I like this better than the OEM board. Before that, my fridge didn't run on propane (the flame sensor didn't work even after replacing the wire and sensor).

This particular board was for a senior citizen whose van fridge only ran on 110 volts. We checked the usual causes and found nothing. We didn't get a chance to test the board and felt it was worth the risk and if that wasn't the problem it almost certainly would be in the future. I was afraid to buy the exact board I need (621271) but I've seen on some forums that others have had success with it. ME TOO! Good instructions, simple and clear. Installs in about 10 minutes. The fridge is working again. I personally recommend anyone with Norcold to get this.
