Dirt Devil F66 HEPA and Foam 🌀 Filter Set - Optimized for UD70010 Uprights (304708001) Review

Our vacuum cleaner was a few years old and lost suction power. I found that the filters were very clogged and ordered a replacement. The only problem is that the suction is so strong that it's now difficult to vacuum light carpets!

This Dirt Devil filter cannot be washed and clogs too quickly, requiring frequent replacement. For this reason, I would not recommend Dirt Devil and their expensive, money-eating proprietary filter system.

. This part is unmarked and comes in a different plastic packaging than Dirt Devil. All Dirt Devil replacement parts that I have purchased in the past are clearly marked F66 with the Dirt Devil logo and are packaged in Dirt Devil packaging.

I bought this filter to have a second one on hand. I find it easier to wash one and pop the other in the vacuum while the washed one dries. I just feel more confident knowing the filter is completely dry before I use it again. I would be annoyed if I ruined my vacuum in the rush to dry. I love my dirty devil.

Excellent vacuum cleaner. This is my second. I forgot the hose and part of the brush and left them on the roof of my car. He fell somewhere on the track. We bought the Dirt Devil Jaguar Pet from Home Depot and don't you know they don't stock filters, drive belts or other accessories for them, but as usual, Revain came to the rescue. Used on a Bissell vacuum - there is an airflow sensor and if the filter is clogged enough to restrict airflow the vacuum will just shut off ( no longer works) . First, remove and replace that sponge pre-filter that sits on top of the pleated filter. But I have found that with a little effort you can salvage a dirty filter with good results.
