Great working antenna

I had another company's antenna. I received 57 channels. After installation I get 82 channels. It is very easy to assemble and install like any other antenna.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • too blunt

Doesn't work very well for long range FM.

My very cheap wire antenna worked better with my VHF receiver. I bought it specifically to pick up a weak FM radio station. My car radio picks it up well, but not as well despite being on a 20ft mast.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • unreliable

Well done but marginal reception

This antenna is no better than the much cheaper GE antenna. It's very well made, but my results were disappointing. VHF frequencies were particularly bad, so no better than the old rabbit ears. Also, 75 ohm cables are garbage.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • This makes me angry

Works great for TV antennas

It was easy to assemble, I live in a mountainous area and had a medium sized outdoor antenna before everything was digital and couldn't get a good picture. The recent increase in my satellite service prompted me to try again. After looking at all the different antennas and seeing how well the Televes data boss works, I decided to try this similarly designed antenna. I now have 21 channels from the 1 tower I've targeted so far and it's a low power repeater 18 miles away.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Null

Signal Catcher: TV Antennas

My last outdoor antenna was replaced due to falling branches. It did a pretty good job. I chose this one because it had a lot of elements but wasn't too big to handle. The construction is excellent. I accidentally dropped the mast and antenna on a concrete floor and the antenna was not damaged. However, there are a few issues with it. It has separate outputs for VHF and UHF, so you need to buy a diplexer or combiner. This is an additional fee if you don't already have one. The antenna is not…

Pros
  • Highest Scores for Support and Durability from Testers
Cons
  • Requires Pedestal

Antenna wxcellent

This review is for the ANI-AV 273RL HDTV 4K UHD Outdoor Digital TV Antenna for Long Distance Communications. Long Range High Definition UHF VHF FM reception throughout the home 175 miles range. The antenna was easy to assemble. I used tape to reinforce the connection of the two REFLECTOR elements. I installed it 25 feet off the ground. I used the grounded RG6 cable previously used with Dish Network. There are currently 51 channels available, of which I get 49. The signal is normal with 3 and 4…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

That's a beast. I wonder why it's not available now.

Maybe I got the first one on 3/1/19? I thought I had checked it out, but unfortunately I haven't while it was still around. People have just asked me why I no longer have a cable and antenna. I'm 45 miles south of Manhattan (Point Knight, NJ) and 60 miles east of Philadelphia. The front of the house faces north, so I mounted the antennas on a tripod to test them. I bought 3 antennas to test; This (model ani-273lr), a ridiculously pingbingdingy looking Star Trek contraption and an RCA Yagi. I…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Quality
