🔧 Premium Distributor Replacement for Chevy GMC 7.4 Vortec L29 2500 3500 C K P 1996-2000 Review

Used on my 1997 with 7.4 Vortec. Good replacement I was definitely skeptical about buying it but I'm glad I took the risk. Still going strong after 15k.

Was looking for a replacement for the plastic manifold that GM is now installing. It was the perfect replacement for my needs and I am happy and satisfied with this product. I will buy again. Thanks very much !

You can't get rid of the check engine light with this distributor unless it's so badly lit you can't do anything about it. it's mislabeled above, so don't use the number 8 stamped above to set up your mailing list. pulled it out 4 times until I realized the markings on it were wrong.

The distributor looks good quality. Better than the plastic original! The rotor and cap could have been better but generally had no issues installing properly and has only been ridden about 500 miles to date but still works great with no issues. I would definitely buy plastic again!

Installed and the quality is much better than I expected. Found the cover I had was not properly drilled for the mounting screws. It included a brand new cam sensor, cover and quality rotor. Still can't believe the quality. I'll check it later only if there are problems with it.

The aluminum body makes this product superior to the OEM dealer who uses a plastic body. The only criticism of this product is that the lid and rotor have to be removed from the unit to fit properly which will break the warranty seal and thus void the warranty. If you don't worry about the warranty, it's a high quality product.

It is metal which makes it better than the factory plastic. Mine was fine, but I was afraid that if the injector or regulator failed again, it would break in the future and I'd have to pull the parts out. Screws for the cover and rotor are terribly cheap, they quickly snap off. The relationship with the transmission oil pump is a tooth. So when you take your shaft out and put it in, it's slightly misaligned. It has plenty of play, a good half inch side-to-side when installed. But that's the…
