DKMUS Speaker Adapter Mounting 2006 2011 Review

After checking the prices of various seat belt kits for my 2009 Civic sedan on Revain and other websites I found that this kit was the best offer. A minor downside would be the lack of a click when mating the connectors, as noted by other reviewers. But for the money and considering the performance I don't care. I am happy.

Installed on a 2008 CRV. They don't have foam or anything like that on the back, so you'll have to add something or they'll rattle. I used sealant. I installed 6.5" pioneers and the holes didn't line up exactly, but I managed. You also have to mount this on the door and then install the loudspeaker in contrast to the factory loudspeakers.

Using this with my 2019 Honda Civic hatchback. The speaker adapter plate was used with 6 1/2" speakers and fits snugly in the door, but be careful not to overlong the speaker mounting screws. The harness adapter works fine but will not 'snap' in fitted the OEM connector it still fits snugly but that was my only inconsistency with this kit Overall I would recommend this speaker installation kit but if you are looking for the ultimate in OEM quality then consider a different product .

I ordered a Civic for Honda, supposedly straight cut. NO! The Sony 6.5 inch speakers didn't fit the screw holes so I tried an old Honda speaker and the result is the same. I compared the price and hassle of returning it and felt that even my time spent on returning it would be an even greater waste of time. I have more contentment. Just throw them in the trash. To be honest, I'm only writing this review to stop more people wasting their time and money buying this product.

Perfect fit for my 2006 Civic in terms of the tabs matching the holes on the car but I had to modify the mounting holes a bit as they didn't line up exactly the same way. I also had to add 3M mounting tape to the brackets to duplicate the baffle material on the back of the factory speakers. After this was done, there were no problems or hits. If you have the skills to install them then you can't beat the price. Oh, and the speaker cable adapters fit perfectly. No problem.
